Next Up: Ring-necked Duck



Male/Drake:
Distinguished by white bill markings, a white triangular shaped wedge by the front folded wing, and iridescent black head and upper parts. This duck's named is derived from the faint chestnut ring around the base of its neck, which is only visible on close viewing.
